September is a wonderful month to visit Oxford, Maryland. The weather and sunsets can be great. The historic town of Oxford is a destination in itself. You can also visit St. Michaels and Easton, Maryland. Travel Hint - Take the car ferry in Oxford for a short-cut to St. Michaels, Maryland.

Chesapeake Film Festival - The festival is set for Sept. 18 to 20 in Easton, 20 minutes from Oxford. It will be centered at the Avalon Theatre, with additional screenings at the Academy Art Museum and Historical Society of Talbot County - Select Screenings in partnership with the Maryland Film Festival.
