Oyster Fest in St. Michaels, Maryland - November 7, 2009
ST. MICHAELS, Maryland - Oystering and maritime traditions of the Bay will come alive at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum on Saturday, November 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m, when it hosts OysterFest 2009. The sweet bivalve will take center stage during the day-long festival, which will include oysters prepared a multitude of ways including on the half-shell, fried and stewed, along with live music from two bands, boat rides, and special children's activities. OysterFest is undoubtedly one of the seasons most popular fall destinations.
Admission to OysterFest, which includes general admission to the Museum, is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, and $6 for children between the ages of six and 17. Children five years and under and CBMM members are admitted free. Food and boat rides are an additional cost. The Waterfowl Festival takes place November 13-15 in downtown Easton, Maryland, off Route 50. Festival hours are: Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

42 Annual Antique Show and Sale November 14-15

Held at the Oxford Firehouse. Saturday, November 14, 10am to 6pm and Sunday, November 15, 11am to 4pm. This is a great activity to do in conjunction with the Waterfowl Festival in Easton, MD.
This year`s antique show will feature over thirty dealers from across the country bringing the finest of their collections of silver, jewelry, china, furniture, vintage clothing and other assorted treasures to Oxford, Maryland.
The Oxford Ladies Auxiliary will offer their Oxford Famous Crab Cakes, sandwiches, and taste desserts, as well as beautiful, homemade crafts. What an easy way to try some yummy Eastern Shore of Maryland food.
